About Gradison Companies

The Gradison Companies is comprised primarily of 2 entities, Gradison Design Build and Gradison Land Development. Gradison Design Build (GDB) specializes in custom building and remodeling in the greater Indianapolis area. The firm has grown into a $20MM+ business over its 30+ years and has evolved over the years, but delivering a quality home with a seamless process for the client has always been the focus. From site selection/purchase, home design, and construction Gradison Design Build strives to make the building experience smooth for their clients.

Gradison Land Development (GLD) is the residential land development arm of the organization. It functions as the operator for approximately 15-20 developments in central Indiana and South West Ohio. Gradison Land develops primarily for the production builders, however will self develop for custom side of business. With a 100 year history of family owned bussinesses stemming back to the early 1900’s, the residential land development business was a natural evolution for the organization. Using its generations of experience, the Gradison team uses a value engineering approach to deliver lots on time and on budget for their clients. Focusing on the north side of Indianapolis for a number of years, GLD has now branched out to all sides of town and recently expanded to the Cincinnati metro where the sitework business first started in the early 1910’s.
